HEAD OF SERVICE OKAYS CONTRIBUTORY PENSION SCHEME (PENCON) IN ANAMBRA

The Anambra State Head of service, Barrister Harry Udu has said that the current contributory pension scheme for civil servants is strictly for their welfare and not intended for any political reasons. Barrister Udu who spoke to the press in Awka on the efficacy and veracity of the scheme, said it has not been suspended as some people alleged. 
According to him, when the exercise started in 2014, there was a window period for those who had up to three years to retire which will end on the first of July this year.
